London-based food influencer Asti Wagner (@eatwithast) faced a growing challenge: managing an influx of brand collaboration requests. The process was cumbersome, filled with endless DMs and non-standard contracts. Recognizing this industry-wide issue, Asti envisioned a streamlined platform for influencer-brand connections.
She brought her idea to us at Luminos Software, kickstarting a transformative journey in influencer marketing.
We guided Asti through our comprehensive development process, starting with concept exploration and wireframing. This formed the basis for a detailed roadmap and prototype, setting clear project milestones.
The development phase presented technical challenges, particularly integrating Meta API for Facebook and Instagram. Automating account creation and social media posting proved complex, as did incorporating TikTok and Stripe for payments. Our team tackled each hurdle, pushing the boundaries of what was possible.
After six months of intense work, Invyted soft-launched in London, focusing on restaurants and bars. The platform quickly gained traction, with influencers appreciating the user-friendly mobile app and brands valuing the efficient collaboration process.
As Invyted grew, so did its capabilities. We expanded beyond hospitality, added TikTok support, and developed features for brands to track their ROI from influencer collaborations.
Today, Invyted is a comprehensive ecosystem comprising a mobile app for influencers, a web application for brands, and an administrative dashboard. The platform's impact is clear: over 200 million in total audience reach, more than 5,000 influencers with 10,000+ followers, and 30,000+ social posts generated.
Asti, now CEO & Founder of Invyted, reflects: "Luminos Software has been crucial in meeting our development milestones and bringing Invyted to life."
As Invyted prepares for US expansion in 2024, we continue to adapt and innovate alongside them. John Vincent, founder of Leon and Invyted's executive partner, notes: "Invyted efficiently connects brands and influencers, addressing a real market need."
The Invyted story showcases how identifying a market gap and applying thoughtful technical solutions can lead to transformative results in the startup world.
